OUR Church

To Be A Committed and Consistent Church   Pledge, promise or duty regarded as a solemn responsibility, to be committed for the Cause of Christ; Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together {as believers), as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging, Hebrews 10:25) – Also, you should avail yourself to the teaching ministries of the Church: e.g. Shiloh Bible Institute, Midweek Prayer Meeting, New Member Training and Revivals

To Be An Evangelizing Church  The mission of the church is to evangelize the world. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28: 19-20). We gather to be edified, we scatter to Evangelize. As Believers, we are commissioned by Jesus to be responsible for the souls of those who don’t know Him as Savior. We witness that others may be saved. But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me (Jesus) both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth (Acts 1: 8).

Shiloh’s Doctrinal Statement

  1. We believe the Word of God is the indisputable Truth and has ultimate authority over our lives (John 1:1-5)
  2. We believe in the trinity, One God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (John 17:21-26)
  3. We believe that eternal salvation comes through personal belief in the sacrifice, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and acceptance of Him as your savior (Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 1:9)
  4. We believe the Gospel includes the proclamation of the eternal power of Calvary and the potential of Pentecost, the baptizing power of Jesus Christ for salvation because of Calvary and the filling power of the Holy Spirit for victorious living (Acts 20:27; Acts 1:8)
  5. we believe in the Divine person-hood of the Holy Spirit and His present day ministry to believers, which includes the  sovereign distribution of spiritual gifts to believers for empowerment for service in the contemporary church (1 Corinthians 12)
  6. We believe in Jesus Christ as the sovereign giver of spiritual gifts to the church. We believe spiritual gifts are given for the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ. We believe spiritual gifts are given without regard to ethnicity, social class or gender (Ephesians 4:7-12, Galatians 3:26-28)
  7. We believe in the value of biblical terminology of leadership in the contemporary church, i.e. Bishop, Overseer, Pastor, Minister, Elder and Deacon. We believe all these are designation for servant leadership (Jeremiah 3:15, Acts 20:28, 2 Corinthians 6:4, 1 Timothy 3:1-7)
  8. We believe in the formal and intentional praise and worship of Almighty God as a proper spirit lead corporate acknowledgement and response to His person and work (Psalm 46-50, John 4:23)
  9. We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit for all Christians which validates the believer as a part of the Body of Christ (Romans 8:14-27)

Mission & Vision Of The House

To Be A Church of Love

Love is the greatest of the Christian Virtues (1 Corinthians 13: 13). Love is declared to be the chief test of Christian discipleship (John 13:35). We (Born Again Christians) know that we have passed from death (spiritual death) unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death (1 John 3:14). The Christian must love God supremely and his neighbor as himself (Matthew 22:37-39).
